Maja is amazing! She is a fantastic oboist and a wonderful teacher. In my last 3 years taking lessons from her, she's really helped me to improve. She always knows how to help me even when I'm not sure what I need help with. Her reeds are phenomenal and I couldn't imagine playing without them. Maja makes each lesson so fun and I'm so glad I'm able to take lessons from her!

Maja I have been taking lessons with Maja throughout all four years of my high school career. She has been an incredible teacher and helped my oboe playing so much. She has helped advance my playing in ways no one else could. Handmade reeds are essential for advancing oboe playing and Maja makes the best ones. I've improved so much in the last four years and I attribute that success to Maja.

Maja is such an amazing oboe teacher and has really helped me with my learning process. I started oboe and taking lessons with her only a few months ago but I have improved so much! She is really good at what she does and always offers a good time during lessons. I'm glad I get to have her as my lesson teacher! :)

Maja is absolutely the best oboe teacher I could have asked for. I look forward to going to oboe lessons each week because Maja always makes them super fun and engaging. She is such a hard worker and she always makes sure that each of her students improves their skills and takes away important elements from each lesson. I recently applied for the Phoenix Youth Symphony and Maja helped me with my audition music for it. She prepared me so well that I was super confident in myself when I submitted my application. Because of Maja, I will be a part of the Phoenix Youth Symphony for the third year in a row!

She is not only a great teacher, but a friend who is there to support you in any way along your journey. With her help, I have been able to make it into Regionals and the Youth Symphony of the Southwest! She makes learning music fun and positive and I look forward to our lesson every week!

Maja is an amazing oboe teacher. I've had her tutoring me since I've gotten my oboe, and it's been an amazing help! She's very sweet and each lesson is so much fun. Maja is such a great oboist and teacher! I started playing the oboe and getting lessons from her at the beginning of my 6th grade year. I improved so much during the school year that my band teacher recommended I be in advanced band next year for 7th grade. She also makes very high quality reeds and gets them to me in no time. I am so thankful to have such a talented and knowledgeable teacher! I hope to follow in her footsteps and become a great oboist like her!

Maja’s lessons have taught me more than my band class at school! The lessons are very flexible to schedule and carry out, and you get to mostly pick your assignments. Learning the very basics and having fun has brought my oboe playing skills out of a low point from the recent pandemic. Maja knows exactly what she’s doing.

Kamehameha Schools, Maui Campus, had the pleasure of purchasing oboe reeds from D’s Reeds. Although these reeds endured a transpacific journey, they arrived to us incredibly quickly and efficiently. Maja made sure the packaging was proficient, and our reeds were not compromised in their shipping. In addition to their unmatched quality, she included information on how to properly care for our reeds; and tailored the advice to our specific location’s environment.
